Industrial wastewater must, in most cases, be treated in order to adjust the water quality to regulation requirements for sewage disposal. In most countries, the regulations are enforced and heavy fines are levied. The industrial client looks for a simple treatment process which will not require a significant infrastructure and whose operational activity will be simple. BioCastle holds this type of solution by eliminating the need for sludge (biomass) growing and circulating in cases that require only organic matter reduction.
How it works:
Please note that pre-treatment is required in cases of high concentrations of fats, oil and grease (i.e., DAF treatment).
BioCastle offers the SBP technology as a cost-effective treatment for the industrial sector. The technology benefits are:
- It offers an efficient treatment process for reducing selective regulated contaminants and thus saving on associated fines.
- It offers a cost-effective solution:
- Infrastructure (CAPEX): Saving most associated infrastructures required for sludge growing, circulating, and waste sludge (WAS) disposal.
- Operational (OPEX): It enables using a simple treatment process and consequently an easy-to-use operational activity and costs (no need for energy investment in sludge growing, circulating, monitoring and WAS de-hydration and evacuation).
- Natural Based Technology (NBT): The SBP technology is composed of biodegradable components and the entire capsules activity is based on natural microorganisms. It leaves no environmental fingerprint, which causes our solution to be environmentally friendly, safer and less contaminating.
